Bishop (D) Larry Palmer
Bishop Palmer was born in Princeton, West Virginia. During his 30 years of service, he attained the highest enlisted rank. During his latter years of service, he held the position of Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 11th Wing at Bolling Air Force Base, responsible for the safety and security of over 40,000 personnel.
Following two years of service as a deacon, Bishop Palmer began preaching the Word of God in 1987. His experience includes serving as interim pastor, president of the advisory board, lay leader of ministers, and various other positions with multiple Air Force Chapel programs. He has preached internationally, worked as a pastor and assistant pastor in the local community, and served as an interim pastor on various occasions. Bishop Palmer has served as Senior Pastor of Israel Total Life Ministries in Waldorf, Maryland, for five years. The Holy Spirit has made him a unique teacher, a powerful preacher, and a compassionate shepherd.
Among the many degrees Bishop Palmer holds are:
- A doctorate in Philosophy in Religious Studies.
- A master’s degree in public administration.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources.
- Two associate’s degrees (one in propulsion engineering and the other in personnel administration).
He has two grown sons and seven grandchildren with his wife, the former Brenda Hurd.
